For the past several years, U.Va. has charged all employers, including our alumni, a $25 fee to post positions on HoosTRAK, our on-line jobs database available exclusively for U.Va. students and alumni. University Career Services and the Alumni Career Serivces Center today announced a six-week pilot program that allows U.Va. alumni to post jobs to their fellow alumni and students for free. If the pilot project succeeds, we will offer free job postings for our alumni indefinitely.

Additionally, alumni contemplating a job or career change may want to create an account on the HoosTRAK system to search for positions posted by thousands of employers each year.  To do so, they can visit www.career.virginia.edu/students/programs/hoostrak/. Use the password "cavalier" for first-time access. They may also want to contact the Alumni Career Services Center at www.alumni.virginia.edu/career/ to assist with an individual job search.
