HoosOnline nightly data synch operational
Today HoosOnline implemented its nightly data synchronization with the University's BSR Advance database.
Through a semiautomated process, changes that alumni make to their personal profiles in HoosOnline are imported into Advance, U.Va.'s official alumni and donor database, every morning. In a parallel process, changes that U.Va. employees make to alumni records in the Advance database (generally through off-line means such as mail or phone) are incorporated into the HoosOnline alumni directory each night.
