Paul Shearman joins U.Va. as Assistant Director of Broadcast Email Communications
Paul Shearman joins U.Va. today as assistant director of broadcast email communications. In this newly created role, Paul will work with communicators at U.Va., its schools, and constituent groups to manage mass email communications to alumni and other constituencies.
Paul will help communicators establish accounts to use the University's new broadcast email tool provided through Kintera, set up training, and help users plan and conduct their email communications campaigns.
Paul joins U.Va. after 20 years at United Airlines where he worked extensively in customer service and computer systems training. His email address is pjs8t@virginia.edu, and his telephone number is 434-243-2363.
During the next few weeks, Paul will circle back to communicators who signed up for broadcast email training and had a preliminary discovery conversation with Barbara Boatman this fall. Those who have not yet signed up for broadcast email training and would like to get in the training queue should complete the Broadcast Email Request form online, and Paul will be in touch with details.
