Interactive Media establishes project roadmap
The Interactive Media team has evaluated the list of poential projects requested by clients throught the University community based on their impact, replicability and ease of implementation. The Interactive Media Project Roadmap below is a summary of that priority-setting exercise.
Significant work on the highest priority projects will occur during April, May and June. Subsequent phases will commence in series thereafter. To have a project added to the roadmap, please contact Zach Wheat, assistant director of client services, at 32096 or zjw6b@virginia.edu.

- Enable payment processing through Kintera Sphere.
- Rebuild and migrate U.Va. Clubs HQ Site (uvaclubs.com) to Sphere.
- Construct Microcommunity template sites that include automated updating of U.Va. content for:Geographic clubs (ex.: U.Va. Club of Richmond)- Build new and update existing constituent-oriented sites:
Classes (ex.: Class of 2001)
Affinity Interest Groups (ex.: Cavalier Daily Alumni Association)Endowed Professorships (to replace print version)
Society of University Families (site for parents and friends groups)
Capital Campaign and Support U.Va.

- Launch participant fundraising management through Sphere. (Health System Development)
- Move ongoing email projects that have non-BSR email lists into primary Sphere account, including Virginia Athletic Foundation, Arts & Sciences, Music Dept., Center for Politics, and McIntire School e-newsletter.
- Create basic Alumni Career Services website that includes new design, content and bulletin board.
- Redesign HoosOnline with updated user interface, enhanced personalization, and visual relationship to microcommunity templates and unified alumni site.

- Alumni travel page (U.Va. Travel)
- Blind e-mail capability for alumni
- UCAN for faculty and staff
- Communication and subscription preference opt-in/opt-out (content taxonomy)
